Pastor Dana Beland

Pastor Dana Beland was born in Massachusetts in 1970. He lived a good portion of his adolescence in New Jersey. At twenty-three, he moved to southwest Virginia where he met his wife, Melanie. They were married in 1998 and went to Kentucky Mountain Bible College as newlyweds. Dana graduated with a Ministerial degree with an emphasis on Biblical Languages in 2002. In 2004, he was ordained as a minister in The Wesleyan Church and sensed God leading him into full-time pastoral ministry at Elizabethtown, KY where he served as pastor of Trinity Wesleyan Church for seven years. In July 2012, God called the Beland family to serve at Sent Out Community Church. Since their arrival, Pastor Dana has fallen in love with the community surrounding the Village of Lennon and has developed a great passion to share God’s love with them. Dana and Melanie have four children. In 2017, Pastor Dana graduated from Wesley Seminary with a Master of Divinity.
